A Royal Wedding: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

Before I post our Easter pictures, I wanted to do this post. I want Isabella to look back on this one day and realize what a special day this was for Great Britain.

Someone laughed at me earlier today when I said I got up at 345am to watch the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton (Kate). What they didn't know was that my Nana and my mama were born in London, England. Bethnal Green to be exact. This is part of my heritage. I am very proud of where my family came from and the "English" things my Nana has taught us. I hope we can continue to pass on our "little ways" to our children.

I vaguely remember the wedding of Dianna and Charles. I was very young but as a little girl it was a fairy tale. I also remember staying up all night with Brent when Princess Diana died watching her funeral. Needless to say, I had to get up and watch the wedding of Prince William. I also love that fact my sister and I were texting each other at 4am about the wedding!!

They both looked absolutely in love and very happy. Her dress was classic and very proper for such a beautiful wife of the future King of England.

I love how proper William is all the time but then I love how Harry loves to crack a joke.

She is stunning.

Her sister looks beautiful also!

Of course, I can't forget the Queen of England and her husband, Prince Phillip.

What a gorgeous couple!

I think they did a wonderful job keeping with some of the British traditions but then making it "their" own wedding.

In the past, the entire Royal Family comes out on the balcony but only the wedding party was out there.

I joked this morning with Isabella that we weren't leaving the house until after the kiss. They were scheduled to kiss 725am, our time and we have to leave the house by 720am to get to school and work. I figured my 8 o'clock patient could wait a few minutes. (FYI He showed up at 10am.)

Such a surprise and very nontraditional!

3 Months Old

John Paul, you have grown so much in the last three months. Your looks are beginning to change. You still look like your sister but I think a little bit of the Purser family might be coming out in you.
A week ago you weighed 14 lbs 6 ozs!! You are pretty much wearing 6 month clothes and size 2 diapers. You have already had your 2nd ear infection. :( Your sister did the same thing but we could always tell when she had one because she wouldn't sleep. You are completely different. You are so happy all the time I can't tell when you are sick. You laugh and smile all the time! It is the sweetest thing!

We sure do love you, every little roll!

These were taken last Sunday after church. I mention above how happy he is and these are of him fussing. His sister was giving him a little "extra" loving and he wasn't happy!

Unicorns

Belle: Mama!
Me: What Belle?
Belle: Be still. There is something on your face. (As she stares intently into my eyes and then yanks the mess out of my eyelashes. Yes, eyelashes, not eyebrows!)
Me: Ouch, Belle! Why did you do that?
Belle: Sorry, there was a unicorn on them!
Me: Oh my! Really?
Belle: Uh, huh!

Love love love my little girl!

From many moons ago! She is sure growing up!

Time for Tball

This past Saturday Isabella had her first tball game. It was quite an experience! Unfortunately, Darren had to work but I do believe Isabella had more fans in the stands then anyone else. Pap, Marme, Morgan, Anna Grace, Mimi, and Papaw were all there to watch and of course, John Paul!
At this age they are so cute! When someone hits the ball, they all run to get it, except ours. She stayed in the same stance the whole time she was in the field except when she was waving at us! :) She did get a great hit and made it all around the bases. At this age they don't keep score nor keep track of anything so it is mainly a learning experience! Hopefully, by the end of the season she will be a pro like her mama and daddy were! :)

By the way, my camera was messed up this weekend. I then got Morgan to take pictures which she put on facebook and now I can't get them off facebook. So the pictures are from Darren's Iphone the morning before the game. I'll get better pictures this weekend!

Yes, her outfit is HUGE but all the kids look the same way! ;)
